School & Creative Supplies Every child receives a backpack filled with notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, markers, glue sticks, scissors, rulers, erasers, and a pencil case so they can arrive at school confident and ready to learn.
Toys & Fun
- Younger kids (ages 2–10): stuffed animals, dolls, action figures, building blocks, puzzles, cars, balls, and art kits.
- Tweens & teens (ages 11–17): fidget toys, card games, Uno, journals with pens, sketchbooks, earbuds, sports balls, and small Bluetooth speakers—items that help them relax, express themselves, and feel “normal” during tough times.
Clothing & Shoes Season-appropriate outfits (underwear, socks, pants/shorts, shirts, jackets, pajamas), plus at least one brand-new pair of sneakers or school shoes in the correct size. We aim for 5–7 full outfits per child so families don’t have to worry about laundry every single day.
Hygiene & Personal-Care Kits Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap or body wash, shampoo, deodorant, hairbrush/comb, washcloth, feminine hygiene products (when needed), lotion, and a small towel—everything packed in a reusable zip bag so kids can feel fresh and dignified.
Food Support (2–3 weeks per family) Non-perishable staples designed to stretch: rice, pasta, canned vegetables, canned beans, peanut butter, oatmeal, cereal, shelf-stable milk, tuna, spaghetti sauce, and healthy snacks. When possible, we include a grocery gift card for fresh fruit, milk, and bread. This typically covers a family for 14–21 days until the next assistance arrives.
Every item is given with respect and love because every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and hopeful. Thank you for helping us Make Kids Matter—one backpack, one smile, one future at a time.
