The Make Kids Matter at ASU West Initiative connects ASU students' time, skills, and energy to real families who need support in Arizona's West Valley. We're not just raising awareness — we're delivering real resources to real people.
As the campus-based engine for Make Kids Matter's work in Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, and surrounding communities, our chapter gives students the opportunity to lead programs that directly change lives.
To mobilize ASU students to improve youth health, food security, education, and family stability across the West Valley — one community at a time.

Food Drives & Distributions
Organizing grocery drives and direct food distributions for families facing food insecurity.
Backpack & School Supply Drives
Getting kids equipped with everything they need to succeed in the classroom.
Laptop & Tech Access
Bridging the digital divide by connecting students with laptops and technology resources.
Hygiene & Basic Needs Kits
Assembling and distributing hygiene and essential personal care kits for families in need.
Youth Wellness Programs
Leading mental health awareness and wellness programming for children and youth.

Showing up in local schools and neighborhoods to serve alongside the communities we support.
