On Saturday, September 19, 2026, Make Kids Matter was honored to receive a $5,000 grant from the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation as part of the third annual Sprouting Healthy Communities Day. The grant was presented during an in-store check presentation at our local Sprouts Farmers Market, alongside hundreds of nonprofit partners celebrated nationwide on the same day.

Make Kids Matter accepts the $5,000 grant from the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation during an in-store check presentation.

This generous support will fund our Children’s Nutrition Access and Wellness Program, which provides healthy food, nutrition education, and hands-on learning to underserved children and families across Arizona’s West Valley. With one in five local children facing food insecurity, this partnership helps ensure kids have the nutrition they need to grow, learn, and thrive.

“We are deeply grateful to the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation for investing in the health of our kids and families,” said Matthias Brown, Founder and CEO of Make Kids Matter. “Every dollar helps us put healthy food and learning directly into the hands of the children who need it most.”

Thank you to Sprouts Farmers Market and the Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation for helping us plant the seeds of a healthier future for our community. #SproutingHealthyCommunitiesDay
